Training at BAMT
Running on Monday and Thursday evenings in central Bath, BAMT is uniquely designed for students aged 15-25 years old looking to get an edge with their musical theatre performance skills whilst still continuing with their daytime studies at college/school or employment.
Students are given extensive individual attention and for 6-7 hours a week receive focussed training from experienced performing arts lecturers and practitioners. It is one of the only courses in the area to give equal weight to all three disciplines with time being split equally between singing, dancing and acting.
Entry onto the course, which runs for 30 weeks in line with the academic year from September to June, is by audition only with the minimum age requirement being 15 years old.
Our aim is to give students an introduction into the skills, commitment and hard work required in full-time training establishments - allowing talent to flourish and enable them to #takethenextstep.
